About us

White Wedding Taxis is family owned and run by David and Julie. David has been driving taxis for over 12 years and has also had many years chauffeuring experience prior to passing the knowledge. With his knowledge of London, and experience in passenger transport, undertaking weddings just seemed to be the next step.

David and Julie also work closely with other experienced taxi drivers with white taxis as well as vintage London taxis so they can provide a wide range of vehicles for you to choose from.

All of our taxi drivers working for White Wedding Taxis are regularly checked by the CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) and the Metropolitan Police for their good character.

The Traditional London Taxi

If you are looking for a truly traditional black London taxi then our FX4 with its highly polished paintwork and chrome bumpers is a must.

This FX4 is a traditional London black taxi that has been used in many films and advertising campaigns around the capital.

This 1981 black FX4 taxi has also been immaculately restored to its original condition.

Our FX4 taxi can also be used in conjunction with the vintage Beardmore taxis below.

Vintage taxis

We now have two beautifully restored vintage Beardmore taxis.

One in black and burgundy and one in blue and buttermilk. These taxis can seat 4 passengers in the rear compartment and just like our modern wedding taxis there is more than enough room for your dress however big it is.

London streets were oncen full of these taxis but sadly there are only a few that remain in good working order.

Travelling to your wedding one of these vintage wedding taxis is like taking a step back in time.
